Who I am - Ben Wolen
Hi everyone, my name is Ben Wolen and I am a sophomore studying Criminal Justice. I am from New Jersey and my favorite color is green. I am currently in the BU Strength and Fitness Club on campus! I enjoy reading, camping, working out and spending time with my girlfriend. My favorite sport teams are the NY Jets and NJ Devils. I love attending games and cheering them on. After I graduate, I want to get my masters degree in Forensics and work in CSI. I’ve always had an interest and want to help in that department. Something that people might be surprised to know is that in high school I was on the track and field team. I attended the New Balance Nationals for the 4x400 relay and 55m shuttle hurdles. Another thing relating to track is that I ran at Penn Relays. I even went against Quincy Wilson, who ended up being the youngest male to run track for Team USA and won a gold medal with them at the Olympics. It was a great experience and something that most people think is cool. Another thing I’ve done before is in 2023, I hiked the Rim2Rim hiking trail at the Grand Canyon. It was around 25 miles in the span of a day. Lastly, a lifetime goal I want to achieve is complete an Ironman by 2035. My dad has completed multiple half and full Ironmans. He was always an inspiration to me and always pushed me to be my best. Other than that, I am excited to learn about writing foundations and get to know others in the class.
